July 18 – Aug. 3 “The Revolutionists” by Lauren Gunderson, presented by the Main Street PlayersA “bold, hilarious call to action for art, feminism and resistance,” set during the French Revolution, according to the theater. July 23 Senior Field Trip to the Miracle Theatre in Coral Gables to see the play “Step by Step” by Peter Quilter. Aug. 7 Registration opens for a Book Talk with Christina Diaz Gonzalez, Attorney and award-winning author of “The Red Umbrella,” “A Thunderous Whisper;” “Moving Target,” “Concealed;” “Invisible: A Graphic Novel,” and “The Bluest Sky.” Presented by the Cultural Affairs Committee, Gonzalez will appear in person at Town Hall, 6601 Main St. on Sept. 4, 6:30 p.m. – 9 p.m. Her books will appeal to readers of all ages. “The Red Umbrella,” which describes the journey of a 14-year-old girl who escapes Cuba and lands in Nebraska, will be of interest to those who fled aboard the Pedro Pan flights.  Sign up at TOML.Eventbrite.com.
