The Key West paradise is waiting for Miami Lakes seniors. The Elderly Affairs Committee invites residents, 55 years and above, on a free field trip to Key West on Tuesday, March 27.
Seniors can take a relaxing stroll down Duval Street, grab a bite of some amazing seafood, or pick up a souvenir and savor a Key West sunset at Mallory Square.
The bus will depart from the Optimist Clubhouse, 6411 N.W. 162 Street, at 8 a.m. and participants must arrive by 7:30 a.m. The trip will leave from Key West at 8:30 p.m. from a drop-off and pick-up location on Duval Street.
Mandatory pre-registration is required with no exception. Deadline to register is Wednesday March 21. Pre-registration will be available at the Mary Collins Community Center, 15151 N.W. 82 Avenue, on Tuesday, March 20, from 2 to 4 p.m., and on Wednesday, March 21, from 10 a.m. to noon.
