Military heroes with ties to Miami Lakes will be recognized by the town and its Veterans Committee, which are planning another display of banners that will be hung along Miami Lakes Drive.
Relatives or friends may nominate an active duty service member, reservist, veteran or retired member of any military branch.
Each banner will have the veteran’s name, photograph and details about their service in the annual project that is sponsored by Miami Lakes AutoMall.
To qualify, honorees must live in Miami Lakes or own a business in town.
Nomination forms can be found online and must be submitted by March 12.
