Bob Graham Education Center’s Bobcat Jumpers Team had the honor of performing at the opening of Bank United’s employee fitness center on the campus of the Miami Lakes headquarters. It was a great opportunity for the team to showcase their talent at the ribbon-cutting ceremony. The school thanked coach Jeffrey Tandlich for his dedication to this talented group of students.

Pace High School welcomed 40 career professionals, including alumni, including recently elected Miami Lakes Mayor Manny Cid (Class of 2002), to present to its student body at its annual Career Day on February 3.  Students listened to and spoke with professionals from careers ranging as wide as attorneys and FBI agents to dog care experts and fitness specialists. St. Andrews Lutheran Church will have a yard sale on Saturday, March 4 from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. The church, located at 575 W. 68 Street, is raising funds to provide continuing support for the church’s food bank and other ministry activities.
