Miami Lakes K-8 Center 5th grade student Joseph David Calles was selected by Mayor Michael Pizzi to serve as an honorary Mayor for a Day on June 10. Calles checked out the Mayor’s chair on the Town Council dias and then visited the mayor’s office. “My experience was fun and exciting,” he said. “I learned about the different departments at Town Hall and was excited to meet new people and the police officers.”
