Barbara Goleman High School student Patricia Miranda won girls’ Badminton Player of the Year last week at the 2016 Miami Herald’s All-Dade Athletic Awards at Jungle Island. Miranda also was named to The Miami Herald All-Dade First Team for winning the girls’ singles championship at the GMAC.
