The St. Thomas University Bobcat team participated in the annual Mercedes Benz Corporate Run in which more than 26,500 people hit the streets near Downtown Miami. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the United Way. St. Thomas University alumnus Guadalupe Merlos (center) was the overall women’s run winner of the event.

The Miami Lakes United Soccer Club U14 team recently won the Palm Beach Cup, a youth soccer tournament that featured competition of 100 teams from the U.S. The tournament is open to all USSF affiliated teams that have properly registered youth players who competed in different age groups from U8 to U18.
