  Seven Hialeah Miami Lakes High School Trojan Band students were selected to participate in the University of Miami Honor Band at the Frost School of Music. The students worked around the clock with college professors to perform an impressive performance in the Gusman Concert Hall. Two Miami-Dade County Public Schools’ (M-DCPS) offices were honored recently at the Frost Museum of Science by the White House Initiative on Educational Excellence for Hispanics.
