Mater Academy senior Jairo Gomez with his art work exhibited at the "Dreams and Illumination" exhibition at Miami International Airport before boarding his flight to Spain for spring break. Other Mater senior students in the exhibition include Melissa Fernandez and Michael Erazo.
  Flavia Cuervo, a former Miami Lakes Educational Center student and current Marketing/Public Relations director at Harvard University’s Model UN, has continued to impress her alma mater with her personal and professional accomplishments.
