  The Graham Companies announced the winners of “I Can Make A Difference” Main Street Banner Art Contest. With over 200 submissions, only 26 pieces were able to be showcased on the light poles in the median along Main Street.   Miami Lakes resident Brian Rodriguez was sworn in for his second term as a Miami-Dade County Youth Commissioner. Rodriguez, who was reappointed by Commissioner Esteban Bovo Jr. as one of his two Youth Commissioners to represent District 13 including Miami Lakes, PSN and Hialeah. Rodriguez is a senior at Pace High School and a member of the Miami Lakes Youth Activities Task Force. He is the son of Councilmember Nelson Rodriguez.
