Miami Lakes United Soccer Club’s U14 boy’s team won the 2016 Kelme Cup at North Collier Regional Park in Naples, Florida late last month. The Miami Lakes team competed in a tournament featuring 154 teams from around the world and came out on top in their division in the Gold Tournament.

The Future Educators of America (FFEA) students at Mater Academy Charter Middle and High School won 1st place in the 2016 FFEA State Conference Lesson Plan Competition for their work on STEM. It’s the first time the group competed at the regional and state competition.
