Miami Lakes Cultural Affairs Committee will host its annual Concert in the Park at 6:30 p.m. on its new date, Saturday, January 30, at Picnic Park West, 15151 N.W. 82 Avenue. The Town of Miami Lakes recognized the Zonta Club of Miami Lakes for its “Zonta Says No to Violence Against Women” campaign. At the December 1 regular meeting, the Town Council presented a proclamation to the group for its efforts to raise awareness of violence against women, preventing and combatting what is considered a hate crime against females.
