  For nearly 30 years, Monsignor Edward Pace High School has been collecting food in the weeks leading up to Thanksgiving for its Tons of Love food drive. Everyone in the Pace family, including students, parents, teachers, and staff, is asked to donate non-perishable and canned food items. Miami Lakes Middle School, 6425 Miami Lakeway North, is accepting applications for the school’s unique Legal Studies Magnet Program for the 2016-2017 school year. The applications for the program will be accepted until January 15, 2016. Parents can apply online or by mail.   Miami Lakes United Soccer Club participated in its first Thanksgiving food drive in support of ending hunger with Feeding South Florida.  Teams contributed non-perishable donations with a Thanksgiving theme in mind through November 15 at Royal Oaks Park.
