Miami Lakes resident Brent Edmundson was promoted to Lieutenant in March by the City of Miami Fire Department, he graduated from Hialeah Miami Lakes Senior High and attended Florida State University. He graduated from Miami Dade College Fire Academy before joining the Miami department. He lives with his wife Raquel and son Gavin in Miami Lakes and his parents, Arnold and Nell Edmundson, are longtime residents of the town.
