  Starting five young freshmen in last year’s postseason, Monsignor Pace’s baseball team lost a disappointing district semifinal game against Florida Christian in extra innings.   The Miami Lakes Optimist Club will be holding registration for the 2015 basketball season, from 9:30 to noon, on consecutive Saturdays April 18 and 25, at Miami Lakes Middle School, 6425 Miami Lakeway North.
