Hialeah Miami Lakes Senior High student Karla Moran was selected as one of the Renay Rossi – Distinguished Artist Award winners for the “Museum & Art Technology Program Student Showcase” at Coral Gables Museum.   Longtime Miami Lakes resident Eugene E. Rubio passed away on May 5. He was the husband of Magaly Rubio, a Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate agent, and president of the Miami Lakes Chamber of Commerce. A viewing was held on May 6 at Vista Memorial in Miami Lakes and a Mass of the Resurrection was held on May 7.
