Miami Lakes resident Maribel Balbin was elected as second vice president of the League of Women Voters of Florida during the organization’s 35th Biennial Convention in Delray Beach in mid-May. She is president of the League of Women Voters of Miami-Dade County. Former Palm Beach County League president Pamela Goodman was elected president of the Florida League.
