Miami Lakes Educational Center (MLEC) is hosting its annual diabetes screening on Friday, October 3 from 7:30 to 10 p.m. The MLEC health students work together with medical students from Nova Southeastern University to conduct health and wellness checks where they take blood pressure and calculate BMI among other things.
