    Hialeah Gardens Senior High School has nominated eight students for the Silver Knight Scholarship awarded by The Miami Herald. Nominees from all schools with be interviewed by a panel of judges and the winning Silver Knight nominee will receive $2,000, a statue, and a medallion presented by American Airlines. Sunrise Presbyterian Church, located at 18400 N.W. 68 Avenue, will be holding the third Annual Women's Tea Party event on Saturday, May 17, from 3 to 6 p.m. Last year's tea party had many attendees including Joyce Ann Johnson (pictured).
