Town's Senior Track and Field Games a success

  Miami Lakes Elderly Affairs Committee hosted the 8th annual Senior Track and Field Games on May 10 at Dade Christian School. Participants competed in events including shot put, standing broad jump, archery, 100 meter and 400 meter races, and others. Miami Lakes K-8 Center's Salsa team has had the opportunity to perform at Walt Disney World's Downtown Disney, however for the school's chorus group, this was a premiere performance. Teacher Sara Cino led her students throughout their performance which quickly had the audience singing along. The Miami Lakes K-8 Center chorus group was invited back by Disney to perform next year.
