Miami Lakes Educational Center Chess Club members Kristian Aspi, Robert Walsh, Daniel Manfreidiz, Elkin Huertas and Joseph Garcia competed in the recent North Regional K-12 Chess Tournament at North Miami Senior High School and came in second place. The team quallified for the upcoming district tournament.
