This past holiday season, the women from the Miami Lakes based business, Mujeres De Impacto Ministry (Women of Impact), led the 2013 Adopt a Grandparent and Adopt a Woman in Distress Holiday Program. St. Andrews holds Yard Sale March 8

St. Andrews Lutheran Church will hold a yard sale on Saturday, March 8 from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 575 W. 68 Street, Hialeah. Funds raised will provide continuing support for the church's food bank and other ministry activities.

 

Jose and Ana Julia Arguelles celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on January 31. The Arguelles' have been Miami Lakes residents for the past 13 years. They renewed their wedding vows at Immaculate Conception Church alongside close friends and family, followed by a surprise reception hosted by the couple's daughters Ana Arguelles and Sara Lopez.
