Five renowned poets gathered once again at the Main Street Playhouse on August 25 for a spoken word performance, the fourth time they visited, thus the name "Words United IV." Jerry Schneider, a long time Miami Lakes resident who served his country in the military and was a member of a town committee to honor veterans, died after a long illness. He was 82.
