State awards $3.9 million in grants to Town of Miami Lakes

     The state of Florida awarded the Town of Miami Lakes a $3 million grant toward the costs of the Northwest 59 Avenue extension and bridge project. The money is from the Local Support Grant program, issued through the state House of Representatives.
