MDCPS will start school year with masks

Town cancels outdoor plans due to weather

On Friday afternoon, the Town of Miami Lakes canceled several outdoor events planned for the weekend of Aug. 14 – 15. Citing expected heavy rains from Tropical Depression Fred, the Farmers Market, End of Summer Bash and outdoor sports programs will not be held, official said.
