The Town of Miami Lakes and its Education Advisory Board are accepting applications for The Graham Companies Scholarship, to be presented by the firm. Two scholarships of $1,000 each will be awarded to graduating high school seniors who are residents of Miami Lakes. Applications must be submitted to town hall by March 31. American Senior High School’s Dewayne Martin won a Posse Foundation scholarship, his school in Hialeah announced.
Dewayne has been accepted to Hamilton College in
Clinton, N.Y.
He plans to study public policy and economics.
The Posse Foundation selects students from diverse backgrounds to create a group, or “posse,” at universities and helps them become leaders.
