Miami Lakes Town Clerk and Supervisor of Elections Gina Inguanzo will begin accepting applications for vacant Council Seat 4 on Dec. 16. Prospective applicants will have to file forms with her by Dec. 20 to be considered for the position. Mrs. Claus made a special appearance at the Main Street Playhouse to delight kids with Christmas tales. The annual event is put on by the Town of Miami Lakes’ Cultural Affairs Committee and includes treats, stories and a magic show for families. Members of the committee also dressed for the occasion. Attendees at the Dec. 7 show received holiday goodie bags and free books provided by the Miami Lakes Education Advisory Board.
