Juan Argulo, a midfielder from Homestead, has signed to play Men's Soccer at St. Thomas University, according to head coach Feliks Mats.Argulo raduated from Keys Gate High School where he captained the Men's Soccer team for two seasons. Argulo played competitively with HSA for seven seasons while being captain for four years. The Coding Doctors Kids Club hosted an ice cream social at Ben & Jerry’s on June 27. The Golden Corner Jewelry paid for all of the doctors to get free ice cream and donated to their club. Valeria Bula graduated summa cum laude from Miami Lakes Educational Center’s Cambridge Journalism Program. She was accepted to many highly competitive universities, including Princeton, Georgetown and Emory. Bula chose to enroll at Yale University where she is a rising freshman. Four students from Spanish Lake Elementary (SLE) will have their artwork on display at the Miami International Airport for the art show, “From Rags to Riches-Fibers and Fabrics and Textiles, Oh My!” It will be on display through October 10. The students whose work will be on display are Maksim Almanza, Jocelyn Fonte, Samantha Gaina and Autumn Rosasza. SLE and art teacher Donna Harvey are very proud.
