Mater Lakes Academy’s wrestling team took home first place to capture the John Lyzott Invitational at MacArthur High School. Danny Martinez, Nick Luna, Omar Armengol, David Alvarez, and Ethan Vergara all won individual titles, while Nestor Nunez claimed 2nd place, Nick Munoz finished 4th, and Jorge Rodriguez and Rafael Alvarez finished 5th. The event marks the biggest tournament win for the Bears wrestling team since inauguration.
