Miami Lakes K8 Center's team of present and future coders, Armando Diaz and Daniel Simeon, won first place in the Mobile App Competition at the Innov@te Career and Technical Education Challenge December 1, at Miami Dade College. They competed not only against middle schools, but also high schools, and came out on top.
