Holiday Lights community bike ride around Miami Lakes set for Dec. 2

     Celebrate the holiday season with the Miami Lakes Neighborhood Improvement Committee with a group bicycle ride through town on Dec. 2.      Register at Town Hall at 5:30 p.m. before the approximately 10-mile ride leaves at 6 p.m. Festive attire and bicycles decorated with dazzling lights, tinsel and ornaments are welcome. 44th Annual Veterans Day Parade

On Nov. 5 Miami Lakers enjoyed the 44th annual Veterans Parade through the center of town. 

There were 78 different groups that marched from all over of Miami-Dade County that included school bands, dance groups and civic organizations. 

Veterans marched along the one mile route through the center of town followed by lunch catered by Mission BBQ of Weston for the veterans.
