It’s that time of year again: the 4th Annual “Best of Miami Lakes” awards are right around the corner. Now is your chance to show some love to your favorite small business.
The Town of Miami Lakes and its Economic Development Committee are encouraging all residents to vote for their favorite shops, services and restaurants in the following categories:
--Best Café/Cup of Coffee
--Best Lunch Spot
--Best Dinner Restaurant
--Best Retailer
--Best Beauty Provider (Hair/Nail Salon, barber shop, spa, etc.)
--Health Care Provider (Doctor, dentist, therapist, etc.)
--Professional Service Provider (Accounting firm, law office, brokerage firm, real estate company, bank, etc.)

Completed surveys are due Friday, Nov. 6. Winners will be announced on Saturday, Nov. 28, which is Small Business Saturday and falls on Thanksgiving weekend.
American Express launched Small Business Saturday in 2010 to encourage support of local merchants and businesses.
This year due to COVID-19, many small and family-owned businesses are struggling.
