BankUnited promotes executive to oversee commercial real estate

BankUnited in Miami Lakes has promoted Patricia Lubian to senior vice president, managing director for its commercial real estate business in Florida.
She reports to Executive Vice President Ben Stacks, who leads commercial real estate banking.
Lubian has been with the bank for eight years, according to a press release.
She is tasked with developing, managing and advancing strategic objectives for its commercial real estate bankers and growing the loan portfolio and deposits.
Previously she worked for 11 years at Regions Bank, where she was a southeast market manager for the local real estate division and oversaw loan origination and portfolio management in Florida, Georgia and South Carolina.
Before then she worked for seven years at Northern Trust Bank of Florida.
Lubian lives in Miami.
