Kids can enjoy ping pong, air hockey, board games and more engaging activities under the watch of supervised staff. Once kids are members they’re welcome to visit the center and enjoy the activities. July 4 Fourth of July Celebration. Join the Town of Miami Lakes for the annual Fourth of July Celebration at Veterans Park. The Special Needs Advisory Board will once again provide a sensory friendly room inside the Mary Collins Community Center for attendees who may need a break. July 10 Miami Lakes Chamber of Commerce Luncheon Join the Miami Lakes Chamber of Commerce for its monthly luncheon and networking. Miami-Dade Sheriff candidate Rosie Cordero-Stutz is the guest speaker. Miami Lakes Hotel on Main, 6842 Main St. Networking begins at 11:30 a.m., lunch is at noon. July 25 Senior Field Trip to LoanDepot Park, home of the Miami Marlins. Join the Elderly Affairs Committee to cheer on the Miami Marlins as they take on the Baltimore Orioles.
