Miami Lakes Chamber of Commerce to hold election for board of directors

The Miami Lakes Chamber of Commerce is seeking nominations for its Board of Directors.

Active members of the chamber can be nominated or nominate themselves for six roles on the board: President, vice president, treasurer, secretary 1, secretary 2 and membership chair are all of the roles available to be filled for 2025.

To be considered, only two criteria are needed:

1. Nominees must be an active member of the chamber who regularly attends luncheons and networking events.
2. They must be committed to supporting and advancing the mission of the organization.

Submissions can be emailed to chamber@miamilakeschamber.com until Jan. 27.

Members of the chamber will receive a ballot. Nominees will be voted on during the Feb. 12 luncheon and the new board will be announced during the March chamber luncheon.
