Cheetah Slam raises nearly $12,000 for Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic School

     Parishioners, alumni and current and former parents of Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Parish came together on Feb. 22 for the 3rd Annual Dad’s Cheetah Slam that raised nearly $12,000 for the school. Twelve teams competed in a 3-on-3 basketball tournament and there were 3-point and free throw shooting contests too. The Miami Dolphins, Miami HEAT, Florida Panthers and Miami Marlins donated memorabilia that became raffle prizes.
