Introduction to Traditional Japanese Music Thurs., May 15, 4 p.m. – 5 p.m. Introduction to the koto, shamisen and shakuhachi traditional instruments of Japan, see a demonstration of the koto, read sheet music and take home sheet music for the song “Sakura.” Ages 13+
Tai Chi for Beginners Fri., May 16, 23, 30, 11 a.m. – Noon Led by a library staffer, this class of gentle and graceful movements is designed to improve balance, coordination, focus and mental health. Wear loose, comfortable clothing. Ages 19+
