Zonta Club of Miami Lakes hosts fundraising gala

   It was a night of glamour and goodwill for the Zonta Club of Miami Lakes and their guests during the service organization’s Black & White Gala. The annual party lasted five hours at the Miami Lakes Hotel on Main.  Silent and bidding auctions offered 30 items including jewelry and paintings and four vacation trips. DJ Felix and two showgirls entertained the crowd of 78 supporters. 

     “Everyone had a wonderful time at the casino and on the dance floor,” said Zonta Club member Dallas Gory. “We appreciate everyone that helps us with our projects.” 

     Proceeds from the gala will go toward scholarships, assisting the State Attorney’s office in its fight against human trafficking and to the Women’s Breast & Heart Initiative.
