Miami Lakes Youth Activities Task Force, in partnership with the Miami-Dade Police Department’s Town of Miami Lakes section, will host the 15th annual Bike Rodeo and Safety Day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, December 7, in the Government Center parking lot at 6601 Main Street.
The free event is open to the public and will provide participating children with bicycle safety training and the opportunity to interact with various branches of law enforcement officers.The police department will also conduct a motorcycle demonstration, a crowd favorite.
Free bike helmets and entertainment will be provided along with an opportunity to win new bikes and other prizes.
