Teachers who need support for their high school culinary arts and restaurant management programs may apply for a $5,000 check from the 2025 Rachael Ray Foundation ProStart Grow Grants.
A project of The Rachael Ray Foundation and the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation, the grants may be used to upgrade classroom equipment and resources or by schools that want to launch their own ProStart Programs in the 2026-2027 academic year.
Forty-eight grants will be awarded and winners will be notified in October.
Applications will be accepted until 11:59 p.m. on Sept. 19.

It’s the sixth round of Grow Grant funding from The Rachael Ray Foundation, according to a press release from the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation.
Ray’s Foundation has awarded more than $1 million schools in the ProStart Program through 153 grants.
The Rachael Ray’s Yum-o! Organization has awarded more than 260 scholarships to support students pursuing educations in the restaurant and food service industry.
The National Restaurant Educational Foundation supports several programs to grow the restaurant and food service workforce, including the ProStart Grow program; a military program to help service members transition to culinary careers and Restaurant Ready/HOPES, which partners with community-based organizations to provide jobs and training.
