M. Lakes United Soccer Club hosts closing ceremonies

Miami Lakes officials recently participated in the closing ceremonies for the Miami Lakes United Soccer Club’s in-house teams on April 10 at Royal Oaks Park.

During the ceremonies, Mayor Wayne Slaton and Councilmember Ceasar Mestre helped present trophies to more than 370 children who were commended for their participation.

Miami Lakes United Soccer Club is a non-profit organization, with programs that consist of recreation, academy and travel soccer with games played at the Royal Oaks Park Soccer Facility, 16500 N.W. 87 Avenue. The mission is to make sure the Club has a development structure which will teach and nurture youth players to acquire the correct fundamentals, understand the game’s tactics and strategies, in preparation to attain a soccer scholarship and professional experiences.
