The Miami Lakes Toastmasters Club inducted five new members at its first membership meeting of the month in October.
The club successfully competed in a challenge issued by Toastmasters International for the Smedley Award, named after Toastmasters’ founder Ralph C., Smedley.
The contest requires clubs to add five new members during the months of September and October. Clubs completing the requirements are then provided a special award ribbon and other recognition from Toastmasters International.
Miami Lakes Toastmasters provides a supportive and positive environment where members have the opportunity to develop their communication and leadership skills.
