The Hope Miami Lakes United Methodist Church is hosting its 26th Annual Pumpkin Patch, a fundraiser for its missions and community outreach.
Kids can frolic among the displays from Oct. 5th – 31st at the property, at the corner of Northwest 67th Avenue and Miami Lakes Drive.
The autumn tradition offers entertainment for families and opportunities to take keepsake photos. It will be open daily from 9 a.m. – 9 p.m.
General admission is $5 Monday – Thursday, $7 Friday – Sunday and $10 on Halloween.
Children 12 and younger attend free with a paying adult. Admission comes with a $2 coupon for a pumpkin or gourd that costs more than $2.
Guests who attend a 10 a.m. Sunday worship service in October may attend for free.
Class trips ($10 per child) happen weekdays from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. and are good for kids up to fourth grade. They can play in tunnels, go through an obstacle course and in an inflated corn maze.
They’ll sing songs, enjoy snacks, get a class photo, a goodie bag and a coin for a free kid’s meal at a Flanigan’s restaurant. Residents from senior centers will visit from 1 p.m. – 3 p.m.
There will be gourmet hot dogs, shaved ice, baked goods, face painting, balloon creations and professional digital photos for sale, but guests may take their own pictures too.
Crafters will sell items during the last two weeks.
Pumpkin Patch Princess and Big Joey Magic Showy will entertain on weekend afternoons.
On Oct. 19, there is the Flanigan’s Dinner and “Fun for All” show, at 6 p.m. with a preschool performance and again at 7 p.m.
Flanigan’s food truck will sell items from 5 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. that night.
Get advance tickets or schedule a class trip at the church office or call 305-821-7274.
