The Town of Miami Lakes is polling business owners about the impact of the coronavirus upon their enterprises.
The COVID-19
Business Assessment
Survey is online, and has 14 questions.
“The data gathered will provide valuable information on the financial impact of this pandemic on businesses,” said Clarisell
De Cardenas, communications and community affairs public information officer for the town.
Businesses in town that were considered non-essential have been closed for up to two months.
Information sought from owners will help the town understand how the outbreak has affected commerce as well as their current needs.
The survey asks about a business owner’s industry; the number of employees; how the boss is educating staff about the virus and whether there have been layoffs; how owners receive information that guides their decisions; whether town virtual
webinars have been helpful; if the business can function remotely, the affect of COVID-19 upon revenues and other topics.
The survey may be found at www.surveymonkey.com/r/mzrrl59 and will remain active through the end of May.
Survey results will be published on the town’s website and social media channels, De Cardenas said.
