There is a new flexible workspace in town that caters to clients who may want to drop in for a day or have a longer-term membership.

The modern new Venture X offices in the Arbor Place Building near Main Street provide many amenities that people who work remotely may not find all in one place: conference rooms with Smart TVs, cameras for presentations and video conferences, secure high-speed internet and 24/7 access for members to the office building.

Reception is staffed on weekdays during normal business hours. Parking and coffee are free.

“What I liked about Venture X [is] you’re around people,” said Enrique Lisker, a partner in the franchise with his wife Sharon Lisker.

The couple have their own office at the business and greet clients at the front desk too.

Eighty-one private offices with lots of natural light can accommodate one to six people in each space.

Venture X provides furniture and a filing cabinet that locks inside the rented offices; clients can bring in their own furniture and art if they like.

The company offers security, a mailing address and letter and package handling service.

Members don’t have to commit to a long lease or pay utilities or other costs that a regular office rental would require.

Miami Laker Jorge Perez of Atlantic Safety Inc. became a Venture X member while his office undergoes renovations.

“We wanted to have an office nearby because my merchandise is still at my company’s office,” he said. “It’s very convenient.”

After several months of renting at Venture X, Perez says he has been pleased with the service, the proximity to Main Street and the short commute from his home on the west side of town.

“It’s perfect,” Perez said. “The ambiance is excellent, very clean and Enrique has been great through the entire transition.”

He also likes the security and that he can get into the office he shares with two colleagues early in the morning, late at night and on weekends.

“This has been an excellent option,” Perez said. “I have had my entire team come here and they are astonished at the idea.”

The Liskers live in Aventura. They got to know Miami Lakes when their children played competitive tennis at the Miami Lakes Athletic Club and thought it was the perfect location for their business. Enrique Lisker said he likes the walkable downtown and restaurants in a neighborhood that is quiet enough for his clients.

Venture X is the third business in town that caters to remote workers; Regus Miami Lakes and the Hundredfold Business Center are also flexible workspaces.

Lisker said he likes to help people and that Venture X’s clients include real estate executives, financial advisors; accountants; insurance agents; a home health care business; attorneys and a college professor.

“You get to know a lot of people from different backgrounds,” Lisker said.

On the second floor at 15450 New Barn Road, 18 offices are currently rented. Private office rates span $549 to $4,800 per month. A day pass costs $25 for members and $40 for non-members. Renting a place in Venture X’s community space starts at $199 per month. Rates for a virtual mailbox start at $49 per month.

Members may work from their Venture X Miami Lakes office or at any of the company’s 55 locations in the United States and Canada; United Arab Emirates; Spain; the United Kingdom; Mexico; Honduras and India.

In South Florida, offices are in Doral, downtown Miami, Palmetto Bay, West Palm Beach, Palm Beach Gardens, Orlando and Naples.

Lisker encourages those seeking a place to work in the area to tour Venture X. For more information visit www.VentureX.com or call 786-952-6744.
