Last year’s Dade Christian girl’s volleyball team fell short of their goal of winning the state title.This year, the Crusaders made sure the championship trophy came home.In dominating fashion, Dade Christian defeated Liberty Baptist in straight sets, 25-2, 25-7, to capture the Class 3A state championship in Ft. Mayri Martinez, Bob Graham Education Center’s dance coach (pictured with her dance team members), was recognized at the December Town Council meeting for her 10-year dedication to her dancers. Each day after school, she has mentored, motivated and instilled confidence in her team. This past year, the Bobcats team won second place at the American Alliance Regional Dance Competition and first place at the Contest of Champions Nationals.
