American Senior High swimmer Ryan Capote (left) won first place in the recent GMAC 50 free style and placed second in the 100 free style. He won first place in the District 100 free style and moved on to Regionals to compete in the 50 and 100 free style.
Rafael Mora (right) won second place in the 200 free style at the GMAC meet. Due to a wrist injury, he was unable to compete further. Both are sophomores and team captains. Richy Pelaez is the boys’ swim coach at American.
