Bike Rodeo set for March 16

Miami Lakes Youth Activities Task Force will present its 21st annual Bike Rodeo and Safety Day on Saturday, March 16, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Miami Lakes Picnic Park West, 115151 N.W. 82 Avenue.
Sponsored in part by Andy’s Police Supply and the Town of Miami Lakes Police Department, the event will provide children an opportunity to learn about bicycle safety while interacting with various branches of law enforcement officers.
The first 200 participants will also receive a free helmet and a chance to win a bike in a raffle.
Additional activities include a bike safety course, a K9 Unit demonstration, music and more.
