More than 70 children participated in the Miami Dolphins’ Spring Break Camp at Royal Oaks Park, where they engaged in a series on interactive drills designed to help improve their agility, throwing and catching.

Dolphins’ defensive lineman Davon Godchaux signed autographs and helped conduct the camp for kids, who play flag football for the Optimist Club of Miami Lakes.

According to the Dolphins’ website, the Junior Dolphins program is designed to give kids access to learn the fundamentals of football using the NFL's top resources. To grow the game, the Junior Dolphins program works to educate coaches, parents and youth on the health and safety of football with a strong emphasis on character development.

The Optimist Club of Miami Lakes runs a youth flag football program for kids ages 6 to 14 in the Spring and Fall. Over 370 kids and 45 teams are participating this Spring. For more information, visit http://MIAFlag.com or contact 786-228-6319.
