Goleman football’s winning streak continues

Pancakes may be the fuel for champions and good sportsmanship at Barbara Goleman Senior High.
Several Goleman players gathered at an IHOP on Sept. 25 to share breakfast with their archrivals from Hialeah Gardens Senior High.
The purpose of the meal was to foster mutual respect among the players, according to the school’s Facebook page.
For those who might have thought it could never happen, the meal was recorded in a photograph taken at the restaurant, at 3315 West 88th St. in Hialeah.
The next day, Goleman won their fifth game of the season, defeating the Gladiators 42-18.
The Gators won before a record-breaking crowd at home and are enjoying their best season start in school history.
Goleman faces the Miami Coral Park Senior High’s Rams (2-2) at home on Oct. 4 at 7:30 p.m.
